Kari M.L. Watson, Vice President

Kari Watson, Vice President at MacDougall Biomedical Communications, Inc., joined MBI as a founding employee in January 2002. Kari’s corporate communications experience includes strategic positioning, crisis communications, media relations, investor, and employee communications and product marketing support. She speaks regularly at regional conferences and CEO workshops on strategies for corporate positioning and developing and delivering effective presentations.

Kari has worked with life sciences companies of all sizes ranging from seed-stage to commercialized public companies.  Prior to joining MBI, Kari was a Director at Feinstein Kean Healthcare in the corporate communications practice where she provided for senior-level communications counsel over 4 ½ years. Kari graduated from Williams College with a B.A. in Art History and a concentration in Pre-Medical Studies.

Kari is an advisor to the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), and she is a member of the Publicity Club of New England and the Executive Women’s Golf Association.
