Stephanie May, Ph.D.

Senior Account Executive

Stephanie is Senior Account Executive in MBI Munich office. Stephanie provides corporate communications, PR and IR services to clients ranging from early-stage immune-oncology and microbiome innovators to publicly-listed metabolic companies. Her specialty is leveraging her scientific insight into effective pitches and communication strategies. Prior to joining MBI in 2015, she completed her Ph.D. in frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) in Munich. Over the course of her academic career, she also completed communication course work and continues to apply both sides of her experience as a member of the executive board of the Alzheimer Society Munich. Stephanie holds a Masters degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich.

an old Volkswagen Polo, a typical German car. Unfortunately, I crashed it the second day after I got my license. Luckily, it wasn't totaled. Today, I am a very safe driver, I promise!

If I could, I would donate my fortune to...
helping people with neurodegenerative diseases. Unfortunately, for most of these devastating diseases, including Alzheimer's, ALS or FTD there is no cure yet, and help is much needed - not only in research, but also to cover the cost of caregiving and support of relatives.
